Argentina is facing a serious financial crisis that is already forcing a substantial part of the population below the poverty line, and not for the first time. The scientific community is not immune to this situation. The nature of the crisis and the measures taken by President Mauricio Macri’s administration threaten to bring the Argentine scientific system to the brink of collapse.
