Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) image

Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) image of a carbon nanotube and silver nanowire electrode (CNT/AgNW) laying on top of a perovskite film. A high electrical current passed through the CNT/AgNWs electrode and decomposed the silver nanowires into silver nanoparticles leaving a silhouette of the original path of the AgNWs. The perovskite film also suffered from the high current and formed Islands. Although the sample never worked as intended, we found beauty in the remnants of failure.
