Supernumerary Rainbow

Image of an Interference or Supernumerary Rainbow, i.e., the faint internal arcs that appear inside the primary bow. They were explained by Thomas Young in the early 1800's and appear only when the water droplets are the same size. The picture was taken with a Samsung Smartphone, camera model SM-A300M, F-stop f/2.4, exposure time 1/231 sec, ISO-50. No image processing was performed.
