Elvin Chizenga.
The Optica Foundation has named Elvin Chizenga, Lightaceutics, South Africa, the 2024 Milton & Rosalind Chang Pivoting Fellow. Chizenga will use the fellowship to promote biophotonic health care solutions by educating the public on the proper use of devices and commercializing academic innovations. This includes increasing awareness to prevent misuse and health risks, particularly in emerging-economy countries, and driving the adoption of biophotonic technologies through science entrepreneurship.
