The hybrid Optical Fiber Communication Conference and Exhibition (OFC), held from 5 to 9 March in San Diego, CA, USA, was a smashing success. The conference attracted 11,500 attendees and 515 exhibiting companies. OFC 2023 included plenary talks by Patricia Obo-Nai, CEO, Vodafone Ghana, Ghana; Jayshree V. Ullal, president and CEO, Arista Networks, USA; and Wendell P. Weeks, chairman and CEO, Corning Inc., USA.
