The 2019 edition of the International Day of Light (IDL), which takes place each year on 16 May, is fast approaching. The IDL theme this year is “illuminating education.” OPN caught up with Cather Simpson, University of Auckland, New Zealand, to learn more about some of the outreach activities that she leads to celebrate the annual event.
