The Nobel Prize Award Ceremony and Nobel Banquet were held on 10 December 2018 in Stockholm, Sweden. OSA Honorary Member Arthur Ashkin, OSA Fellow Gérard Mourou and OSA Fellow and 2013 OSA President Donna Strickland were honored at the event for their groundbreaking inventions in the field of laser physics. OSA CEO Elizabeth Rogan also attended as one of Strickland’s guests.
