Women members have filled important leadership roles in OSA over its long history and continue to do so at an increasing rate. Here’s a look at the legacies of two women who helped blaze that trail.

March is Women’s History Month in the United States. To mark the occasion, OPN is shining a light on two women who made significant contributions to The Optical Society (OSA) at a time when women’s accomplishments were frequently overshadowed by men’s—Hilda Kingslake and Mary Warga.
