OSA 2017 Ambassadors Announced
The 2017 class of OSA Ambassadors includes nine dedicated and committed society members. Throughout their one-year term, these ambassadors will engage with other members, focus on professional development and support OSA programming.
The 2017 Ambassadors include Felipe Beltran-Mejia, INATEL, Brazil; Danuta Bukowska-Sampson, University of Western Australia; Rim Cherif, Higher School of Communication of Tunis, Tunisia; Rajan Jha, Indian Institute of Technology Bhubaneswar, India; Yoshitomo Okawachi, Columbia University, USA; Mariia Pashchenko, Czech Academy of Sciences, Czech Republic; Alessandro Restelli, Joint Quantum Institute, USA; Michelle Sander, Boston University, USA; and Arlene Smith, Avo Photonics, USA.
