The OSA Foundation (OSAF) is pleased to announce the 2012 recipients of the Newport Student Travel Grants and the Incubic/Milton Chang Student Travel Grants. The 15 recipients from 10 countries presented research papers during the Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics (CLEO) in San Jose, Calif., U.S.A. Sponsored by Newport Corporation, the grants recognize the research excellence of students presenting their work at CLEO:2012. Endowed by Milton and Rosalind Chang, the program provides 10 grants to enable students to present at the annual CLEO and Frontiers in Optics meetings.
