The International Workshop on Optics and Photonics (IWOP) took place in Marrakech, Morocco, on 5-8 October 2010. This event was hosted by the department of physics and faculty of sciences at Cadi Ayyad University. This workshop was endorsed by OSA, EPS-IGPD, SPIE, ICTP and UNESCO, and it provided a broad review of optics, from the basic theory to its frontiers and applications.
